No Practice on 4/3

Due to most of the members being in Cleveland for the Cleveland Kendo Tournament and promotion exam and/or being unavailable to go to practice on 4/3, there will be no practice this coming Sunday.

Practice Schedule For The Next Two Sundays (1/10 & 1/17)

Hey guys, I will be out of town for the next two weekends, so I won't be at practice. I plan on giving the dojang keys to Mark so Kendo will still go on as scheduled. As for Iaido, since I won't be there to open up or lead for that portion of the class, there won't be Sunday Iaido.

Wednesday classes will go on as normal.

Special Practice With Connie Ishii

A good friend of ours from Lexington will be participating in the World Kendo Championship in Tokyo next month.  After a few emails and phone calls, we will be hosting a special practice for her on May 3rd at our usual time and place (Step-N-Out Dance Studio at 9:30 AM).  It's rare for us to have visitors, so you should come so that you can get experience with people outside of our dojo, which will do wonders with improving your Kendo

On an unrelated note, I will not be able to open the dojo this coming Sunday for Iaido, so there will be no Iaido this weekend.  Kendo will go on as scheduled at 9:30 AM.

Easter Sunday Practice

Due to Easter Sunday coming up (and I will be out of town), there will be no practice on Sunday, April 5th.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to all the swordsmen and swordswomen in the club!  Practice will resume starting on Sunday, January 4th at the usual time and place.  And since this is the first Sunday of the month, we will be performing Kendo kata.

Thanksgiving Practice

Due to the Thanksgiving holiday this week, there will be no practice on Sunday (11/30/14).  See you guys Wednesday!

Kendo Schedule

I will be out of town this weekend and all next week so there will be no Kendo/Iaido practice on Wednesday, November 12th at the College Hill Rec Center.  While there will also be no Iaido on Sunday until November 23rd, it will still be Kendo practice as usual.
