Location Change!!!!!!

As some of you have heard before, there were plans in the works for the owner of the Sunday practice location to move to a larger spot sometime this year.  Those plans are now underway!

Mary Tons of Martial Arts America offered to let us practice in their Landen location for the next two months while everything is set up in their new location.  So, starting today, we will be at the following address:

2906 US-22, Maineville, OH 45039

It's located in the Kroger Shopping center located under the big "Karate" sign.

Tomorrow's Practice

I just wanted to remind everyone that we will NOT be having our normal Kendo and Iaido practice in Kenwood today in lieu of the ECUSKF squad training at the College Hill Rec Center (our Wednesday location).  Doors open at 9 AM and practice starts at 9:30.

Holiday Practice

First of all, I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!  Be sure to eat lots of food, then come to practice to lose it all!

Due to the Thanksgiving, the places that we usually practice at are closed, so we will not have any practice on 11/23 and 11/27.  Practices will resume as normal until 12/25 due to it being Christmas Day. 

In the meantime, NHK World did a special on the recent All Japan Kendo Championships and they are streaming it for free until December 5th.  Enjoy!

NEW PRACTICE LOCATION!!!!!

I was able to get in contact with the people at the Martial Arts America place earlier today to talk about practicing at their location on Sundays.  Starting this Sunday, the new address for Sunday practices is:

The dojo is located next to Sherwin Williams and in the shopping center where you see a Fifth Third bank in the front.

No Sunday Practice Until Further Notice

Our usual Sunday practice location in Newtown recently closed shop so, for the time being, there will be no practices on Sunday.  I am currently searching for a new place for us to practice, so hopefully we can start back up very soon.

Practice for Next Year's AUSKF Nationals

This is just a short reminder that, instead of having our normal Kendo and Iaido practice in Newtown this Sunday, we will be joining up with the AUSKF squad tryouts/joint practice at the College Hill Rec Center.  Practice starts at 10 AM and ends at 2 PM.

No Iaido Sunday (6/23)

Because I will be out of town this weekend, there will be no Iaido this coming Sunday, June 23rd.  I gave the key to Mark, so Kendo will go on as planned @ 9:30 AM.  If you have any questions, please let me know.
