No practice Sunday

Good evening,

I'm going to be out of town this coming weekend, and I don't have anyone to give the dojo key to so that practice could resume.  Due to that, I'm going to have to cancel practice this Sunday. Regular practice will resume on Wednesday.

It may be a break, but you all should still be practicing anyways!

See you all on Wednesday!

Temporary Practice Time Change!!!

This is a reminder that we will have a demo at Hoppin' Vines at 2 PM this Sunday. The address for this is 8150 Montgomery Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45236. It's located at the old TGI Friday's building in Madeira behind the building where Half Priced Books is located across the highway from Kenwood Mall. Please arrive by 1:15-1:30 if you are participating in the demo to go over how the demo will be conducted.

Due to the timing of the demo, I've decided to move our practice one hour later so that we aren't sitting around for a long time in between the practice and the demo. Due to this, the practice time for THIS SUNDAY ONLY will be:

Iaido: 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM

Kendo: 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM

If you have any questions or concerns about the time change, please let me know.

Snowed/Iced In

Good morning everyone,

Hopefully everyone has been able to stay warm and safe during the snow overnight.  This morning, I tried to get into my car and it was iced shut, so I won't be able to go anywhere until I can get at least one door open.  I was going to keep trying and maybe hold Kendo later this morning, but I just found out that Hamilton County issued a level 2 snow emergency a few minutes ago.  Because of those factors, I'm going to have to cancel practice.

Sorry for the last minute warning!

Christmas Practice Schedule

Good evening everyone,

Sorry for the short notice, but I just wanted to let everyone know that we will not be having practice tomorrow morning and Wednesday night.  We will resume practice on 12/30 in Dillonvale.

Thanksgiving Weekend Practice

Hello everyone,

This is just a notice to let everyone know that, due to the Thanksgiving holiday, we won't be having practice tomorrow morning.  See ya next week!

Out Of Town This Weekend

I am going to be out of town this weekend, so I won't be able to hold Iaido practice this Sunday.  However, Kendo shall go on as normal!

Canceled Practices This Week (10/17/2018 and 10/21/2018)

Hello everyone,

Sorry for the short notice, but I had to wait to see how the day went before I made the final call.  Unfortunately, I'm tied up a bit at work, so I won't be able to get to practice today.  Because nobody will be there to teach, I'm going to have to cancel practice for tonight.

While I'm at it, I also need to let everyone know that, due to the Johnson Cup tournament, we will not have practice this Sunday.  If you do want to get your Kendo fix, you're more than welcome to join in the fun times up in Columbus this weekend.

Keep practicing hard!
